- Led the development of an over-ear health monitoring device, integrating BCG, ECG, and PPG technologies to enable real-time tracking of vital signs, and readings of heart rate, body temperature and blood oxygenation
- Increased power efficiency by 79.3\% by introducing new signal detection algorithms for PPG, BCG, and ECG signals, which enabled more efficient data processing
- Designed C-based GATT service for BLE, to further extend the battery life of the device by 32%
- Developed data acquisition scripts in C utilizing I2C for PPG, IMU, temperature sensors, and ADC
- Implemented multi-threading in C with mutexes and semaphores for adaptive sensor sampling
- Created a Python application with OOP, GUI using QT, and BLE protocol, to obtain user-friendly graphical visualization, wireless communication with the peripheral, and permanent data storage
